Another Day, Inc. (ADI) provides services to individuals in Kansas and Missouri enrolled in Medicaid Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) Waiver programs and through private pay, or third party insurance.

The services provided by ADI are associated with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Independent Activities of Daily Living (IADLs). These typically include - hygiene/grooming, health maintenance, feeding, mobility, meal preparation, housekeeping support, errands and shopping, recreation and social activities. These services are provided in the home as well as out in the community.

Agency-Directed Services:

If you are enrolled in a Medicaid HCBS Waiver Program in Kansas or Missouri you may have the option to have your Personal Care Attendant Services delivered through an agency. The benefit of Agency-Directed services is that the agency assumes more responsibility for the service delivery. At Another Day, we work directly with the individual to develop a person centered plan for how the services will be delivered. This means you help define the tasks performed, when they are performed, and by whom. We take care of:

  • Recruiting - We have an established network of providers and recruit new providers as needed.
  • PCA Training - We provide all required trainings, and additional specialized training if needed.
  • Payroll processing - We process worker payments, and withhold taxes.
  • Medicaid Billing - We bill Medicaid for the services established on your care plan.
  • General Management Tasks - We take care of Administrative/HR tasks associated with managing a PCA.

Self-Directed Support:

If you are enrolled in Kansas Medicaid HCBS Waivers and elected to self-direct your services, you are supported by a Financial Management Services (FMS) provider. Another Day is an enrolled FMS provider and supports self-directing individuals across the state.

As an FMS provider we provide the following support services:

  • Medicaid Billing - We bill Medicaid on your behalf.
  • Payroll processing - We distribute worker payments, and withhold state and federal taxes on your behalf.
  • Recruiting help - We maintain a list of eligible workers that you may interview and hire if you choose.
  • Access to Practical Skills Training  - We provide access to training material related to managing your services.

Private Pay/Third Party Insurance:

If you are on the HCBS waiver waiting list, or would like to have some additional support, we offer services through private pay and third party insurance. The first step in setting up private pay services is for us to have a conversation with you about the service needs and schedule.  We can then find a qualified PCA to begin providing Personal Care Services for you or your family member.  We understand the level of support may vary by individual, so we offer multiple tiers of Personal Care Services ranging from basic support to specialized support requiring certifications.
